Grunewaldstrasse 8
Berlin, Schoeneberg
This multi-family project situated in Berlin Schoeneberg – a diverse and family-oriented district – recalls Henry Sauvage’s Parisian buildings applied to the scale of Berlin’s typical late nineteenth-century apartment buildings. With its shimmering white tiles and contrasting dark-green ornaments, the cladding evokes the city’s famous factory courtyards. Setbacks and balconies spanning between the avant-corps create an open back façade with generous outdoor spaces for twenty six family apartments.
